What is the difference between pellet and mash feed?

Pellet feed is pressed into small, uniform pellets, so every bite has the same nutrition, there is less wastage and it is easy to store and handle. Mash feed is the loose, powder form that mixes easily with water or fodder. Both carry the same quality – choose the one your animals and feeding routine prefer.

What is bypass feed and how does it help?

In bypass feed, a part of the protein is protected so that it “bypasses” the rumen and is digested later in the intestine. This makes more protein available to the animal for milk production and body condition. It is especially useful for high-yielding cows and buffaloes. Our Bypass Dairy Special is made for exactly this.

What pack sizes are available?
  • Pellet feed: 25 kg and 50 kg bags
  • Multigrain Chokar: 40 kg bags

For dairy farms, gaushalas and dealers we also supply in bulk.

Are your feed ingredients safe for animals?

Yes. We use carefully selected grains, brans, oil cakes and minerals, and every batch is produced hygienically to keep the quality consistent. Our feed is made to support animal health, immunity and productivity.

Feeding & Usage

How much feed should I give my cow or buffalo every day?

As a general guideline:

  • Maintenance: about 1.5 - 2 kg per day for an adult animal
  • Cow: add about 1 kg for every 2.5 litres of milk
  • Buffalo: add about 1 kg for every 2 litres of milk

Exact quantity depends on the animal’s weight, milk yield and fodder available. Talk to our team or your local veterinarian for advice for your herd.

How should I switch my animals to Sitara feed?

Change feed gradually over 7 - 10 days. Start by mixing a small amount of Sitara feed with the old feed and increase it a little every day. This helps the animal’s digestion adjust without any upset.

When will I see a difference in milk yield?

With regular feeding in the right quantity, along with green fodder and clean water, most farmers notice better health and milk yield within 2 - 3 weeks. Results vary with the animal’s breed, age and overall care.

Can I give it along with green fodder and bhusa?

Yes – and you should. Our feed is a concentrate that works best alongside green fodder, dry fodder (bhusa) and plenty of clean drinking water. A balanced diet of all three gives the best results.

How should I store feed bags?

Keep bags in a cool, dry place, on a raised platform or pallet – not directly on the floor or against a damp wall. Keep them away from rain and direct sunlight, close opened bags properly, and use older stock first.
